Coal Handling System for Boiler

Coal Handling System (Bio-coal Handling System)

A Coal Handling System for Boiler is an essential system designed to efficiently receive, transport, crush, store, and supply coal to the boiler furnace for continuous steam generation. This system ensures smooth fuel handling, reduces manual labour, and improves operational efficiency in industries such as power plants, sugar mills, paper mills, textile units, and other steam-based processing plants.

The system typically includes equipment such as coal crushers, belt conveyors, bucket elevators, magnetic separators, vibrating screens, storage bunkers, feeders, and control panels. Each component works in coordination to ensure a steady and controlled supply of coal to the boiler.

Our Coal Handling System is engineered with heavy-duty construction, high efficiency, low maintenance requirements, and long operational life, making it ideal for industrial boiler operations. The system can be customized according to boiler capacity and plant layout.

Working Principle:

Raw coal is unloaded and fed into the receiving hopper.
Coal is transferred through belt conveyors or bucket elevators.
Large coal lumps are reduced to the required size using a coal crusher.
Crushed coal passes through vibrating screens for proper sizing.
Processed coal is stored in coal bunkers or silos.
Feeders regulate the coal flow and supply it to the boiler furnace continuously.
